Yusef Poole Visits Cross Library Media Center

Wilbur Cross 2010 commencement speaker Yusef Poole visited Ms. Potter and Ms. Tait at the Wilbur Cross Library Media Center in November, 2010.  Poole, a 1991 graduate of Wilbur Cross and a practicing attorney in Atlanta, Georgia came to speak to the classes about growing up in New Haven, and about what is necessary for success and escaping the bonds of the city.  He spoke to two groups of students on that day.  All of the students were mesmerized and asked thought provoking questions which he happily answered.  He gave the Wilbur Cross High School Library five copies of his autobiography which were all checked out on that day.
